I was in the drive through at Crispy Creme the other day and noticed that they now have whole wheat donuts. Does this strike anybody else as ironic, odd, or at least slightly off?

As much as I support the use of whole wheat, it does beg the question, "Is it still healthy when dipped in frosting?"

See. That's exactly what I'm saying. Now you might could pass off a weight watchers donut which is whole wheat and low in sugar as not inherently contradictory (not this this could ever taste good), but this CC attempt just seems stupid. But I guess some people will use it as an excuse, so it might be a good marketing maneuver regardless.
